diagramming software -> draw.io now supports line jumps

Yes, software supports it. It's part of the line jump style and you can adjust how large the gap is.

diagramming software -> draw.io now supports line jumps

Yes, I missed that... just playing around now. I can definitely see your argument against jumps if electrical connections can be indicated with dots. What are your thoughts on gaps?

diagramming software -> draw.io now supports line jumps

Those pics were zoomed in... here's the page at 100% using a circle to connect lines. That's the smallest circle I could create and lines are set to 1pt.

diagramming software -> draw.io now supports line jumps

Actually, this is pretty cool because you can then drag the circle shape around the page and the lines stay connected.

diagramming software -> draw.io now supports line jumps

So, something like this... It doesn't do it automatically but still pretty easy. I had to create a circle shape to connect the lines...

diagramming software -> draw.io now supports line jumps

Good news... For a long time now, I've been looking for a (cheaper/free) alternative to Visio for making electrical diagrams. The one thing that all of them seem to be lacking is the "line jump" feature. draw.io just announced today that they support the feature. FYI - Looks...

    Sam's Brew Box

I had a problem with my SYL-2802... the temp readings were jumping around. After sending Auber a video they quickly diagnosed the issue as power line noise/interference and sent me a replacement unit with modified software. They added a notch filter to eliminate some of the noise from the 60Hz...

Where do you get a Control Panel Nameplate?

I like ponoko.com. Mine is on their largest stock because it covers my entire panel; cost about $40 shipped (with a $20 off first order promotion). A smaller nameplate would be cheaper. After color filling with cheap acrylic paint from the craft store:

    Show us your panel

About a year ago I was inspired by this thread to upgrade to electric. It's been a long road but I finally finished today and felt it was time to post here. Thanks to everyone for the inspiration and all the great info in this forum! .

    Sam's Brew Box

Finished! I still need mark volumes on my sight glasses but, other than that, I think all I have left to do is brew. Replaced all my tubing... You'll notice on my panel that I don't use a PID for the MLT. Instead, I used an Auber SYL-2802 dual temp meter. The...

    Sam's Brew Box

I'm getting close... did some tests with just water. The 50 feet of herms coil definitely slows the flow down quite a bit. The mini ball valves I have are not full port and don't help but I really like them. I did some flow tests with and without them and didn't see much of a difference...

    Sam's Brew Box

Oh, and by the way... pulling 6-gauge wire through 3/4 inch conduit is not easy.

    Sam's Brew Box

I've been debating over where/how to mount the box. The wall probably would have been easiest but, when I was picking up the conduit for the outlet, I noticed the unistrut in the same aisle. Since my stand already resembles a big erector set...

    Sam's Brew Box

haha, thanks! I wonder how many g-forces those little electrons pull as they round the corners at that speed...

    Getting excited again...

    Looks great! :mug:
