Hi all....
So i just finished brewin a batch of beer and as i was walkin my fermenter to storage i realized i forgot to add the hops in my boil! Heres a question... can i boil hops in a little water and add it at secondary fermentation or at batch priming? Sounds crazy... i know. Any tips?
I just made my second cider batch through mr beer. The first one i did i used brown sugar to add a caramel flavor. The last one i did i added a can of blended blueberrys. Makes a 2 gal batch. So far so good.
I did use top off water, but I had mixed for quite a while. Also, I waited for the wort to cool before taking a reading so I am assuming my readings are accurate. With a 1.03 OG and a 1.01 FG I am coming to the determination that my abv is siting below 3%.... is this a wrong estimation on my end?
So ive researched this already and I know people get worked up when a question is asked in a forum thats been answerex a hundred times before. That said, i am only asking this to gain current opinions on my specific batch issue.
Phew.
I had brewed quite a few 2 gal Mr Beer batches with great...
Thanks and all comments r appreciated!
Im sure the orange could look more natural but thats beyond me lol. All my labels have that quirky almost ridiculous factor to em. Im gettin better w photoshop so ill see what i can do to it. Thanks again!
Hey all...I posted two of my first labels last night.... here is one Ill be using tomorrow when I bottle my Weizenbeir. It has honey and grated orange peels in it so hence the label. I know its tacky but what can I say!
I see what your saying.... it is a bit vast in the pic here but the actual label is like a half oval shape so its not as vast. I will do what you suggested by making the words bigger though. Simple but effective! thats what I was lookin for! Thanks!
Hey all..
Been brewing just under a month but my first two labels ever were born this month!
I have a raspberry vanilla concotion called RAZILLA!
I also have a caramel cider called PATRIOTS CIDER!
PLEASE TELL ME WHAT YA THINK!
