Legal Sources - Regarding Lease Laws or Renters Rights

Well done. The only thing I would have liked to see were exact dates when you contacted them. Impossible to do now, but for future reference, I'd us email if possible for all communication. it's also a bit wordy. remember, every word you type can potentially be used against you or can...

This Really Annoys Me Pet Peeve Thread

Was pods skiing through a forest with a rifle in 1939? What the hell have you contributed to society? Another Marine here, so to keep this about pet peeves let me add p&ssy little b!tches who rise and sleep under the blanket of protection that I provided and then want me to list my...

    Brew Boss Systems

There is a video where the developer mentions a concern with large grain bills where unrestricted flow could lower the liquid level enough to expose the heating element. I started out cautious, but have since realized this isn't a problem. As for the partial COFI fill, what you say makes sense...

I think "read" is correctly used in that context. Re would not be appropriate since it is short for regarding and that doesn't work. It may be stilted sentance structure to use read, but it is correct.

I think every business owner would want to know if their customer service people are driving business away. As a former restaurant owner I definitely wanted to know if this was happening. If the customer doesn't tell me about a problem, I can't fix it. So, getting back to pet peeves. How...

    The CAD thread

I think it depends entirely on what type of gear/sprocket he's drawing. if it is a standard toothed gear, that can be done with straight lines. A rounded sprocket such as would accept a chain would require a tooth profile drawn with both lines and arcs. The OP didn't specify. Either way, I...

    The CAD thread

I just reread your post. the problem was with the offset lines. they were no longer radial. you drew a line from the center of the circle. so far, so good, Then you offset that line, that's bad. you ended up with three lines that are parallel to each other. what you wanted was three lines...

    The CAD thread

that's an easy one. just to be certain, delete all of the lines and the outer circle, leave the inner circle. offset the inner circle out by the depth of the teeth. use the QUAD Osnap to draw a line from the 12 o'clock position of the inner circle to the 12 o'clock position of the outer...

    Replacing parts?

I'll run mine through the dishwasher as well. Soak it overnight beforehand.

Where to find used "Beverage/Merchandise" Fridges

check around and you'll see folks who've used the insulation board along with plywood and built a "hat" for the freezer. Others have just cut the freezer up and used the cooler circuitry in a homemade insulated box.

Yeah, it gets bad down in my part of Florida. Not many bike lanes. there's no reason to pass close to someone when there's no oncoming traffic, that's just a jerk move. I ride a motorcycle, so I'm very aware of how unprotected you are on two wheels.

and if it helps to stick a fork in the tipping debate, let me just offer this in support of both sides. yes, it's that scene, and yes the language is Not Safe For Work.

Everything you say is correct. I was trying to explain the tipping culture to someone outside the US and I didn't want to get too deep in the nuts and bolts. I owned a restaurant for a short time and the servers made more from that place than I did.

Where to find used "Beverage/Merchandise" Fridges

Try this. I've seen tons of them on here. http://www.publicsurplus.com/ Heck, right now they have a walk in cooler with bidding at $5.50. But as someone else pointed out they will be expensive to run. I plan on ordering an insulated glass panel from these guys...

This Really Annoys Me Pet Peeve Thread

As far as bicyclists go I always try to give them a wide berth, same with joggers. But here's the thing, you got a quarter mile of cars stacked up behind you because there's oncoming traffic. I'm passing you safely but four feet is not an option. How about pulling off the road to let the backed...
