Gelatin. What's the best way to use it?

Yeah, the BierMuncher method works well. Also, this was the original method I tried via Don Osborne. Both have worked for me. Don Osborne Gelatin

How to connect wort chiller to this tap?

The area below the lip is the aeration fitting. That should unscrew and definitely looks like it should in the photos. Just remember that you need to turn it in the opposite way than you think because you're looking down on the inside of the fitting, not the outside.

Gelatin. What's the best way to use it?

There was quite a comprehensive thread on gelatine which, if I remember correctly, some people were in the same boat as you and got ok success anyway. In short, YMMV. There's going to be no substitute for experience/trial & error. If you're bottling, you'll find the yeast slug at the bottom...

    gelatin finings?

OK. Have a Nut Brown Ale kegged that just isn't clearing so by page 2 of this topic I decided to give gelatin a go (well Gelatine as the UK/Aus spelling goes, sorry autocorrection takes over and adds the 'e'). Boiled the water but got distracted before adding the gelatine and ended up with...

Yes you could just boil, cool and add to the primary. That will work out and you could even rack onto it in the secondary. It's there to provide more for the bugs to chew on after the sacc in the blend (or initial ferment in your case) eats up the easier to access fermentables. The bugs can eat...

Beer Tools Pro vs. Beer Alchemy

Yeah I noticed the smaller font too. It made me realise I have to go to the eye doctor and get a new set of glasses!! Overall though you need the full name when you've got multiple malts with the same name but different colours.

    Two kit batch

If you go to aussiehomebrewer.com and do a search for "toucan" you'll get plenty of ideas. I think there was a mega thread called "battle of the toucans" if you're keen

Mini Fridge Conversion to Fermentation Champer - Wiring Question

You no longer need to worry about the thermostat as the Ranco is now the thermostat. I just set mine to about 3/4 of full power and left it there not exactly knowing what else to do and it works fine. I haven't had to play with it. Basically, the Ranco detects the temperature from the probe and...
