I got a new brew pot and it doesn't fit in my sink, which is where I usually chill the wort. Is it safe to put a lid on it and stick it in the freezer for a little while? Please reply quickly, I have about 25 mins left in the boil. Thanks!

Wheat is all i have right now and i'm trying to work with it

I am about to bottle my third batch of beer and have already used the corn sugar and dme methods of priming. I was wondering if I can use wheat DME to prime. The recipe for the beer had wheat in it so I thought it would work but I just wanted to make sure. Thanks :rockin: :mug:

I don't think it would give the same result...just because it is fermenting at a higher gravity than it normally would. I don't think it would hurt anything though; creative thinking.

Rum, bourbon, and sweet sweet ganja

I just recently used a starter for the first time with one packet of Munton's dry yeast...the cheap kind I suppose. The starter worked great for me, I can't really understand the "harm" that could come from making a starter with dry yeast.
