    Long Pumpkin Ale Fermentation?

So I brewed a pumpkin ale back on September 8th (now 17 days ago). I put the pumpkin in for all 60 minutes of the boil, in a fine mesh nylon bag. I used the canned stuff too (Libby's 100% pumpkin puree). Anyway, by the time I had pitched my yeast starter, my wort was perfectly clear. I had...

    Bottling a long-secondaried imperial ale

I have a barleywine that I'm getting ready to bottle and it's been in secondary since January at this point. I know for certain that I am going to be re-pitching more yeast before I bottle it. I've seen people saying that you don't need to re-pitch with the same yeast strain you brewed with, and...

Show us your Mead in a photo!!!

Yea, my typical OG for my traditional raw honey mead (that I do in Spring and Fall) is usually over 1.100. Good luck. Cheers! :mug:

Show us your Mead in a photo!!!

According to my notes; this one had an OG of 1.078, which is low, especially for my meads. Finished at 0.985 with 4632-Dry Mead from WYeast, which I've only used this once. Overall, this mead is really good, but it was before I started adding some citric acid to my non-desert/sweet meads, so...

No problem. I also meant to say you can also (and should) prime your bottling bucket/bottles with honey. 1.5 oz honey per gallon to get 3.0 vols of co2.

Thanks! When I make a sparkling mead, I just bottle condition with dextrose like you do with beer. Cheers! :mug:

British Brown Ale Nut Brown AG

Go for it. I brewed mine a couple weeks ago with all Maris as my base malt and its great so far. Don't see why partially using Vienna would give you anything but a good beer too. Cheers!

Need input on cranberry poundage for a nut brown recipe

Thanks for the input. Cheers! My friend and I overhauled the original recipe to make it an imperial and I tinkered with the ingredients. We'll be using 5-6 lbs of cranberries.

Has anyone brewed the "Port-like beer" from Radical Brewing?

I'll be brewing it tomorrow. Let me know if you've done it already and how it came out, otherwise I'll post back with my opinions.

Need input on cranberry poundage for a nut brown recipe

First off, this will be the beer I am brewing for this: https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f67/nut-brown-ag-30187/ I've been wanting to brew a nut brown (this one looks/sounds excellent) with cranberries for a couple months now, mainly for Thanksgiving-time. Would anyone have an idea of how many...
