Looking for a 4 draft / 3 door kegerator that can be built into a bar. Any suggestions? Looking to keep it $3000 and below.

I've got as much room as I need, essentially. I'm finishing a 680 sq ft room, just did the floors and painting. I was mostly seeing if people had other options. That's a nice looking machine and I appreciate the offer, but I really need/want the 3 doors for my sundries and room for expansion.

Looking for a 4 draft / 3 door kegerator that can be built into a bar. Any suggestions? Looking to keep it $3000 and below.

Hi all, I've been homebrewing for 11 years now and have finally decided to build a home bar above my garage. I'm looking for a 4 tap kegerator that has 3 doors, but can safely be built into a bar and not overheat (front vented). Something like this...

Running with a spontaneous ferm, several questions

Hi all, About 2-3 weeks ago I decided last minute to brew a lager. I got all my ingredients but I didn't have enough time to step up a large enough starter. That's OK, I thought, I'll just sanitize everything really well and pump it into my unitank at boiling and pitch later. So I did that. I...

How many times does cultured yeast need to be stepped up to be pitchable?

My friend and I are going to be making a Double IPA this weekend hopefully using the heady yeast we gathered. We poured the last ~20% of 2 cans into our flask and added starter wort and left it at 68 for about a month (because we forgot about it, tbh). After that we cold crashed and decanted...

    What's in your fermenter(s)?

Kegging a project brew tonight. I wanted to make an Imperial APA, but it turns out they don't exist? I suppose an Imperial APA is just an Imperial IPA with American hops, but I'm still calling it an IAPA.

    So who's brewing this weekend?

Making my 2 step starter tonight for a big beer I'm brewing on Sunday. Making a 1.117 OG RIS. Gonna be a good time.

Make sure the valve is closed.

I lost probably 20oz of my first runnings to an open valve after swapping a hose on my last brew. I know the pain.

Blonde Ale Centennial Blonde (Simple 4% All Grain, 5 & 10 Gall)

Brewed this yesterday for a work function at the end of the month. First time using leaf hops, too. It was so nice to not have a huge mess of hop trub at the end of the boil. Looking forward to this one.

Fast bucket to keg beer suggestion

Hi all! It's been a busy spring / early summer and time has flown! I have a company event coming up on the 25th of next month and I was planning on brewing a beer. The soonest I can brew is next weekend, which gives me a little under 4 weeks to ferment and carb. I can quick carb the beer...

    Review: SSBrewTech Chronical 7Gal Fermenter

I suppose hot and warm tanks work, I'm just a sucker for elegance and that feels clunky to me. I'd just as soon find a cheap freezer on craigslist, buy an electric heat pad and a temperature controller (which is literally my setup). My chest freezer is ~2" too shallow for one of these to sit...

Look carefully at their temp controller. I was interested in that as well, until I saw "You supply the chill / warm water source..." Kind of defeats the purpose, imo.

Alas! First infection... Still bottling, need knowledge

Alright, I think we're just going to bottle them and see how it goes. I'll try to remember to update the thread.

Alas! First infection... Still bottling, need knowledge

Hello everyone, I am sad to say that, after 4+ years of infection free brewing, I have an infection. The beer was fine in the primary. The infection seems to have been developed during the process of secondary-ing. I have confirmed it's an infection, it had that white-milky stuff and a bubble...

    Persistent infection nightmare

Run boiling water through the things that can handle it (warning, bottling wants cannot handle it) and set the rest out in the sun on a nice, hot day. Bake those ****ers.
