Any 1/4 kegs?

I have an older 1/2 keg that I ferment 12.5 gallon batches in. I siphon into corny kegs. So cooling that much, bigger brew kettle, moving half kegs around to me adds a lot to brew day.

When I start a siphon, I place first vessel high, on a workbench and second vessel low, on floor.

The problem being a slow start or stalled fermentation? What's remedy, pitching another packet?

Cooling wort quickly lessens chance of infection and helps make beer clear. Chances are your fine.

After really cleaning the corny and replacing every oring, how about dropping a campden tablet in before transfering beer?

Would a campden tablet have prevented aceterobacter?

What resource does a consumer have if the retail outlet/ distributor refuses to take keg back? Aluminum or stainless?

I use a corona mill for all-grain 5 gal batches. Works fine.

I broke an old washer down to the plastic tub, ran a pvc pipe up center and used pump to power it. It's pretty big though. Washes my sanke and corny kegs.
