    Firestone Walker 805 clone?

Ressurectus Threadus! I brewed the BYO recipe when it came out. I did the all-grain version as written but subbed the same ibus of Glacier instead of Willamette. It was an amazing beer and I will be doing it again. N_G

Should I add chalk to finished beer?

So it's been a few weeks and a quick tasting from The Keg today indicated that the acidic Tang is greatly reduced but still perceptible. I took your advice and tossed in less than a quarter teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate in my glass. Like magic, it turned into a full-bodied stout beer with no...

Should I add chalk to finished beer?

It is current under pressure in the fridge. After a week, should i pull it and leave it at room temps for a while to condition, or just let it stay in the fridge. Wondering about the fastest way to get to good beer.

Should I add chalk to finished beer?

Brewed a stout from extract and steeping grains (following a Breiss white labs recipe card from a recent BYO). Recipe is 2 cans of breiss dark lme, one at 60 mins, the other at flameout. Steeping graouns were 1 lb flaked barely, 1lb breiss chocolate, 1/2 lb each munich 10 and roasted barley...

Anyone have BYO Novmember 2016? (Automated Brewing Systems)

By the way, these recipe cards, although free with BYO, are pretty good if you like the style. I've brewed a few of them over the years per the stated recipe and I've always been happy with the outcome. I have quite a collection of the ones that interest me. This Black IPA looks tempting and...

Anyone have BYO Novmember 2016? (Automated Brewing Systems)

I'm looking for someone with the Nov. 2016 BYO magazine. Its the one with the automated brewing systems featured on the cover. I'd like someone to take a pic of the Breiss/White Labs double recipe card that comes as an inert in BYO. I'm missing that month from my collection (I know, its...

    March Pump Screw Question

Can locks are in use with the pump. But the pump is mounted in a hard to reach area and I'm loathe to move it.

    March Pump Screw Question

Thanks guys! If it were simple to store the pump aside from the rig, I would. But that would require some thought and tool time. I'd rather spend it turning a few screws and making beer. Thanks for the info!

    March Pump Screw Question

Quick question: What is the thread pitch on the #8 1-1/4 inch round head screws that hold the pump head to the rest of the March 815 pump? Reason: I want to start storing my brewing hardware outside. Because it will freeze over the winter, I want to remove the pump head after each use...

Buying (which?) Extracts in Bulk, and remain recipe-flexible?

When you buy in bulk, do you buy DME or LME?
