I have been using it on a 15 gallon system with a valve on the outlet side had no problems with it slow sparging. I would have continued to use it but decided to upgrade to the blichmann pumps.

I personally add lactose at bottling or kegging (dissolved in boiling water with priming sugar). Usually 8 oz suffices. Not sure it really adds that much to the body but does give you a perception of some sweetness.
They are taking individual bids on items and then bids for the whole lot. Whichever total is higher - the individual ones or the entire lot wins. Guessing someone is going to score the entire inventory. As for kettles I do not know.
