Source for Grain mill rollers (Just the rollers)

I have materials for most of my future grain mill, but looking for where I can purchase rollers (3 bar or 2 as I would like to explore options). I don't want to buy a unit just to take the rollers. There must be a few component suppliers out there, just need help narrowing the search. Anyone...

    Calling all Barley wine gurus!

Good advice Homercidal! I generally do the min requirements for oxygen, but this may be a good case for using the aeration stone and bottle of 02! Thanks!

    Calling all Barley wine gurus!

I hear good things across the board with 1728 and appreciate the advice. I want to bottle this one, and "set and forget" for a year or so. I will add more yeast a few days prior to bottle, and hear that a nice long spell in the 2ndary is a good idea v/s rush to bottle . . .

    Barley wine advice

Thank you for the advice! I have heard and read similar thoughts about WLP099 in that it does not lend the desired flavor esters. Ill research more on the 090 and being a fan of Wyeast, really look into 1728. I heard something about Pacman from Wyeast as well . . . .

    Barley wine advice

trying to select yeast for a Barley wine! (~12%) As these beverages require (benefit) from such an extended conditioning time, I thought I would inspire a new (ok, not new, just updated . . .) discussion regarding lessons learned from yeast selections and best results for a hearty barley...

Biere de garde using 2112 lager yeast

This really went well! Tasted best@ around ambient temp / slightly cool vs straight out of the fridge. Great color, yeast held to the bottom of the bottle (There is a name for that but its early :)). I will be doing this again for sure. Friends, family, and thirsty neighbors helped plow through...

    Carbonating with Nitrogen

Just ran across this great info. Hopefully your still out there for a followup. How long did you allow the process to take using the cab stone? hours, days?

    Kansas City Beer gas?

Any tips for a Beer Gas connection in Kansas City? New to the area and wanting to fill my Nitro bottle (25-75). Don't have any connections yet. Any good tips are welcome! :mug:

Biere de garde using 2112 lager yeast

So far so good! It requires such a long conditioning time that I have only been able to sample a bottle here and there to sample the transition. Yeast clears out really well. I am already a big fan and will try using 2112 again.

    Cold secondary question

Good stuff. Thank you. This recipe deals with the "steamer" approach using a lager yeast at higher temp. (Not a Cleveland Steamer lol) thank you for the advice.

    Cold secondary question

Thank you RK. By "the lower temp" you mean the bottom of the yeasts recommended temp range? I want to say that I have not been bottling! It has become such a cumbersome process I sometimes procrastinate about bottling day. I will be collecting the supplies for kegging the next batch. I'll...
