    Getting discouraged

    WEll my first batch taste like hops water and second batch is in secondary and is smelling strongly like alcohol and is almost a green color. Grrrrr I just want a good beer. In the mean time I will continue supporting some rogues.

    Wort Chiller

    I went to home depot and they had everything i needed(tubing, pipe, hose claps, and attachment for sink) . Super easy to make. Only needed my hands and screw driver for the clamps.

    I brewed yesterday and finished at 7 pm. It's now 7 am and nothing is happening inside the carboy. I used white labs yeast that was best by march 10.     Worst Brew Day attempt ever....

    Well today was my first time brewing by myself. Left the grains in until the water boiled so we shall see what happens. Thought I would give it a shot and keep it anyways.
