    Hisense mini-fridge kegerator?

fyi - picked up a danby designer. plenty of room to fit two standard ball lock kegs without modifying the interior portion of the fridge. as others have noted, the door will have to be cut down to fit two kegs. but for now i just have a single keg in there (along with a 5# co2 tank) and it fits...

Oh man that looks great. Wish I could find one of these! What are the dimensions?

Best mini fridge for 2-cornie kegerator?

I know this question has been asked in years prior but I'm wondering if the Danby DAR044 is still pretty much the best option for a small mini fridge kegerator conversion to fit two cornies kegs (and a 5lb co2 tank ofc)? I've read a few different threads that seem to indicate that the plastic...

    Hisense mini-fridge kegerator?

There seems to be some discussion about this danby fridge being replaced by others that aren't we convenient to mod. Can anyone confirm? (I guess I ought to start another thread...)

    Hisense mini-fridge kegerator?

I have no problem modifying the door... Seems easy to cover. I just really didn't want to have to carve up the inside of the fridge also.

The go-to Danby fridge is this one right? Danby DAR044A4BSLDD-6

    Hisense mini-fridge kegerator?

Update: picked the fridge up this morning. No bueno. Does not fit two ball lock kegs -- too narrow by about an inch lol. So now I get to tape the box back up, carry it back down four flights of stairs and return it to Lowes. Lesson learned. Will order the Danby I guess.

    Hisense mini-fridge kegerator?

Yeah that's basically what I'm thinking also. Just need to be able to crush two ball lock cornies in there. Looks like this fridge layout is similar with the temperature adjustment wall mounted. Makes me wonder if it'd protrude too much to fit both kegs in as opposed to the danby where it is...

    Hisense mini-fridge kegerator?

Thanks for following up! Would love to hear what you think when you get a chance to take a look at it. We have a spot below the shelving in our pantry that it'd fit in perfectly. I looked at keezers (and under normal circumstances I would prefer one) but because of the layout of our space (with...

    Hisense mini-fridge kegerator?

Has anyone used this fridge as the base of a kegerator build project? https://www.lowes.com/pd/Hisense-4-4-cu-ft-Freezerless-Refrigerator-Sliver-ENERGY-STAR/1002927622 I've seen several mentions of the hisense freezers but haven't yet heard of anyone using this particular fridge. The size seems...

post-fermentation pH too high (second failed berliner attempt)

Using a Jellas pH meter. I tried WLP029 for my first attempt at a lacto beer before finding the forums here and milkthefunk and realizing that probiotics were a far better source for bugs. Still no idea why the pH dropped so much after fermentation. Wish I knew exactly what I did wrong so it...

post-fermentation pH too high (second failed berliner attempt)

So I ended up adding just a bit of lactic acid, bringing the pH down to around 3.7. Still not quite as tart as I'd have liked but I was nervous about any more of it contributing to off-flavors. It still has a nice taste to it, just lacking that edge / tang that I usually associate with a nice...

post-fermentation pH too high (second failed berliner attempt)

I've heard some say that adjusting with lactic acid isn't a bad way to go. Another route might be racking it over some fruit to add more sourness / complexity (sour cherries or rhubarb maybe). Any opinions?

post-fermentation pH too high (second failed berliner attempt)

I would have soured it more but it tasted perfect going into primary and I didn't expect the pH to rise so much after fermentation (weird?). Also, the first batch I did I let it go to 3.2 and then ended up with a stuck fermentation which I (perhaps incorrectly) blamed on too much acidity in the...
