I brewed this by the directions and it came out really good. as long as you get your temperature and times right, you're good to go.

yeast has finally settled and it's at exactly 1.016! :ban: gave my test sample a try and while it wasn't as "spicy" as I thought it would be, it tasted great. might have to double the nutmeg/cinnamon if you want it to have a real kick. bottling will commence on monday :D

I've been messing around with BeerTools Pro and it's very thorough.

had to dump a batch of doppelbock because of a really off, sour/metallic taste.... no clue how it got there but opening 48 bottles and dumping them sucked big time.

the Whole Foods over here has 32 oz. growlers. i'm sure if you got a hold of one they could just fill that.

considering they just added it to the site like 4 days ago, I doubt it. this one definitely caught my attention though.

my stout woke up as well, but I have a yeast layer on top that doesn't want to go away! I guess the yeasties are really pushing to hit my FG :D
