    Difficulty reassembling perlick faucet

Pardon my stupid, just didn't fit the o-ring down properly, so the lever wasn't seating properly. Back together now.

    Difficulty reassembling perlick faucet

hmmm... I was pretty sure I was putting it back the way it came apart but will try that. wish I had brought the thing with me to the office, I'll have to wait until I get home to try it out. I do have this feeling that whatever I'm doing wrong is something really stupid.

    Difficulty reassembling perlick faucet

How far down is it supposed to sit? I can't seem to get it down far enough to put the bearing cup back on. Or even for the lever to be able to move. I started to take apart another faucet to have another look, and it did seem that the second ball does sit down inside the top hole, but I...

    Difficulty reassembling perlick faucet

Hi, all. I am having some trouble with a perlick 525SS faucet I disassembled (it was leaking out the bonnet, so I wanted to check o-rings), and now can't put back together. The lever simply will not fit back into the top hole on the faucet. The lever has 2 ball bearings attached, one small...

Traveling for 2 weeks -- to rack or not to rack?

normally, I throw the spices in at the end of the boil, but in your case, you can always "dry hop" with the spices a few days to a week before kegging. It also sounds as though you are concerned about the temps... I wouldn't be overly worried. Whereas it would be nice to have perfect...

    Help - Pumpkin ale questions

I have used King Brian's Samhain pumpkin ale as a base recipe, and the spicing is as follows (5 gallon batch): 1 t. cinnamon (5 min) 1/2 t. allspice (5 min) 1/2 t. ground ginger (5 min) 1/4 t. nutmeg (5 min) 1/4 t. clove (5 min) Enough to give a subtle spice presence, but not enough to be...

    opinions on yeast

And me, I usually go with the pacman, which is now my go-to yeast for most of the American style beers I make.

    Just go with the Perlick's...

My cheap faucets always had a tendency to stick if I left them for a couple days, and even scrubbing them with star san regularly didn't seem to help much. So happy they are gone!

    Just go with the Perlick's...

When I started kegging (less than 1 year ago), I bought a system from keg connection (very happy with them, this is not a thread to ***** about them in any way). Since 4 keg set-ups don't come cheap, I opted not to upgrade to the Perlick faucets at the time of the purchase, figuring I'd get...

My wife thinks i'm going crazy...

Both my husband and I have interests and obsessions that, when we talk about it, makes the other get that glazed over look of "that's nice dear". He loves the beer I make, but obsessive brew talk, not so much.

    Crystal Malt Madness!

I recently ordered a bunch of varied lovibond crystal malts, and decided it would be fun to do a brown ale featuring a little bit of each of them. I will be running this beer tonight, the following is my grain bill, haven't decided on a hop schedule yet, likely gonna use saaz, though. 7 lb...

    Greetings from Western MA

Westfield native here, when I first saw you were from Agawam, I actually thought maybe you were my nephew finally taking my advice and signing up here. Anyhow, welcome, and happy brewing!
