I think i may have added a tsp of the stuff to 5 gallons which the bottle says is like 4-5 times the amount i needed to kill wild yeast, when trying to kill off most of the yeast in a cold crash. Is this stuff poisonous now? it smells and tastes good so far " a month after doing this"

Hi im new to making mead, and i have some white flaky things in my filter in the funnel, from moving it out of a bucket and into a carboy. I have used a little dap in it could it just be that and undissolved they are hard if that helps. Its also fairly sower not sure if this is a normal thing...
