Hi all I bought a True Brew Belgian ale kit and wanted to add spices to it such as ginger cinnamon etc.... Xmas style spices.
The kit:
unhopped lme 1lb
extra lme 1lb
light dme alb
wheat dme alb
belgian candy sugar alb
pale grain malt .375lbs
northern brewer hops 1oz
styrian goldings...
pin lock or ball valve? also check your regulator connections I had an issue with mine leaking.
hope this helps. If the valves for gas or beer are sticking it will cause a leak make sure the springs are in good shape and clean free of debris etc..
I cold crashed mine it turned out great! Put it in the fridge for 24hrs and then bottle keg etc.. It won't hurt to wait awhile longer either, I am new to this only 20 gallons or so under my belt so seek others opinions as well good luck hope it turns out well!
Lol! I just did this as well as long as it was diluted I think you'll be fine, I left a mixture of water and starsan at the bottom of my keg and the first few pulls were watery but then it was fine tastes great no off flavors.
I was rushing around kegging my beer and im not sure if I poured out the stars an when I began filling my keg did I F'up big time?
The water was clean it was not reused starsan and it was a very small amount.:cross:
