    More Keezer Help

I would try keeping the kegs from touching the sides of the freezer. Try wedging a thin piece of insulation between the freezer wall and the keg and see if that helps.

    Apple Jack

Look again. The "Old Apple Brandy" is another product on the same product sheet. There is also a 12 year old brandy listed on the same product sheet. It specifically says that the Applejack is a blended brandy. I too have the Proulx and Nichols book... an excellent source of info about...

    Apple Jack

That's not real applejack. Just look at the info sheet.... 35% apple brandy & 65% "neutral spirits". I don think anyone sells real applejack and I have read that it can give you a killer hangover if you drink too much. Unlike heat distilling, freeze distilling leaves behind all the heavier...

Looking for a Wood bar top

Another option would be to piece together some wood flooring (hardwood or laminate) to make a nice prefinished durable surface. It would be pretty cheap and doesn't require any woodworking skills.

    beer foaming and spitting

I would guess that you are getting the CO2 coming out of solution due to the pressure loss in a 7-9 foot vertical rise. The temperature rise in the line could also be contributing to the problem. What is the pressure in your keg?

Kenmore 8.8 cu ft on sale

When I was looking for a new freezer about a year ago I was told (by an appliance store mgr... maybe not the most reliable source) that only two companies now make consumer quality freezers: Frigidaire and Crosley. All others are rebranded versions from these two companies.

    Fruit grinder

What kind of fruit are you wanting to grind? A 1/2 hp or more garbage disposal works quite well for apples.

    new full 5# co2

Not interested in the tanks, but is the hazmat fee new? I shipped a 20 pound CO2 cylinder last year without any additional fees.

    DIY fruit press

I always enjoy making something useful out of scrap that is laying around. Here is a link to the cider press that I built this past summer: https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f32/homemade-cider-press-146517/
