I used them and polished my stand to almost a mirror finish, But I couldn't find high temp clear, so I painted it.
Sadly this happens even when I'm moving strike water on a bottom drain kettle. I wonder if 25 gallons of water on a bottom drain is to much force for these?
Thats pretty annoying that they screw into the tank exposing the ends. I was thinking about sinking these fittings into the lip if it was thick. But I guess not.
