    Good point, The fan turns on and off when the burner does. But I think the fan used to continue to run when the burner cycled off, even in temperature mode.

    @cubalz, They don't cycle on and off this fast when heating. At least this one didn't the first 30 times I brewed with it, nor has the Avantco IC3500 I replaced it with.

    It does seem like that but it's happening right from the start of turning it on, and I was using the heating setting(watts), not the temp setting. It is something new that never happened before.

    My induction burner kicks on for a couple seconds, then off for a couple seconds, then back on for a couple seconds, etc etc. Not getting any error messages on the display. Anyone else have a similar problem and have a solution? Maybe some kind of sensor went? It's a 3500w bon chef 12085.

    1 oz hops in volume?

    I bought bulk pellet hops but I don't have a digital scale yet. I want to brew today so does anyone know another way to measure? I know it won't be exact but it should be close enough. My guess is 1 oz of pellets should be close to 1/4 cup but I would like a better estimate. Thanks. -kevin

    Just an update in case someone is thinking about trying Del Monte and they come across this thread. It worked great. I puréed three 15oz cans. I actually got a little too much flavor out of it so next time I think I will only use 2 cans.

    Suggestions for a mini fridge to hold two 1/4 barrels?

    I have seen multiple ones with 3 taps but here is a quick link to one: https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f51/3-corny-mini-fridge-150281/ 1/6 kegs would definitely work, they are only 1/4 of an inch bigger than cornies. This just came up in my search as a back up plan...

    Slim quarters? They are only 2 inches wider than cornies. I have seen guys with 3 cornies in a mini fridge. If they can fit 3 cornies you should be able to fit 2 slims.

    Is my initial sanitization pointless?

    Thanks, I think I started sanitizing right after the oxiclean soak to remove the film I was getting from either using too much Oxiclean, letting them soak too long, or both, and just continued the process from then on out.
