    Im in qld.. and use kveik yeast in summer, so actual fermentation can be over in days not weeks. But then, as im using kegmenter, i condition beer over the cake, some say this is preferable to racking, some debate on this. I do this as i ferment and serve in same keg (kegmenter). Always...

    Tropical brewing, with no temperature control

    Hi, so im using kveik voss yeast with either IPA or ale Im still getting a sort of harsh 'green' flavour, and wondering if this is just the citrusy taste of kveik yeast? Is there a particular hops or a way to get rid of this flavour in my beer? Thanks

    Head ache beer

    I brew in a kegmenter, so i dont transfer at all. I brew and serve from same keg. The idea being that i leave it long enough for sediment to settle to bottom, and i use a float with a filter- so beer/cider is drawn from the top of the keg to serve. I always brew for 14 days or more...

    Ok, its probably about 7% im adding 2L juice, (as though 2 of the 23 L total volume).. also about 6 oranges, and half kg of malt, half kg of dextrose with the tin coopers
