    Over dry hopped?

Do you guy usually dry hop while there is still krausen or wait until it drops?

    Boil volume

Irrelevant. The first thing the op said was that they use a 7 gal pot and wanted to know if full or partial boils are better. Full boils are still better, no matter what angle you look at it.

Japan standard tank to US standard regulator?

I got my keg as a full set from morebeer. (I also have an apo box so it is quite a bit cheaper when it comes to shipping for us.) do I had the lines, regulator, and corny as a set. I am on the odakyu sagamihara part of the line and buy my co2 from a local liquor store. It is 7000 yen for a tank...

    Boil volume

I still say full boil but for different reasons now. Wow you learn something new every day! I was operating off of old information I guess.

    Boil volume

Especially when doing an iipa your aroma and flavor hops are very important. Even with a late extract edition all of your end boil hops are going into a thick syrup that is detrimental to your overall hop utilization. Plus if it is a high gravity beer maillard reactions are going to throw off...

    Boil volume

If you have the opportunity to do a full boil, by all means do it. The hop utilization and flavor difference is reason enough already, but the fact that your late malt editions can help you achieve lower srm for different styles lets you break out of that somewhat constant extract beer color...

    Help Finding Co2 in Japan

CDCTXs idea is the way I went. All you have to do is buy the new nut to adapt your pressure regulator and you are good to go.

Japan standard tank to US standard regulator?

UPDATE: The nut that CDCTX recommended worked beautifully. If anyone else even runs into this problem remember that the local "Home Center" has the adapter you need.

Japan standard tank to US standard regulator?

Yeah, thanks for the advice, but I already knew it was left hand thread. I just didn't have the proper tools with me because all of my tools are back in the states and the adjustable crescent wrench I had on me just wasn't cutting it. I ended up just renting tools from the on post auto shop and...

    Help removing pressure regulator nut!

I ended up taking it to the on post auto shop and renting the tools and vice to do it myself. The pipe wrench was the winner. It scarred the metal some, but it seems to be holding up just fine with no leaks. I wish I was in the states and just had access to my own stuff, but this is the next...

    Help removing pressure regulator nut!

Nope, I have been turning it clockwise. It is a taprite and it is indeed left hand threaded.

Japan standard tank to US standard regulator?

I already send you a PM about the issue I am having now! I can't get the damn stem off of my regulator. It is driving me crazy!

    Help removing pressure regulator nut!

Ok. I will have to pick one up tomorrow. Should I continue to torque on the already rounded end piece or should I wrap a cloth or something around the center of the stem and torque directly from there?

    Help removing pressure regulator nut!

Here is a picture of my (now mangled) stem.

    Help removing pressure regulator nut!

So due to the different types of threads used in Japan VS the united states I was forced to buy a new nut for my pressure regulator. I have been trying for the last two hours to try and remove the co2 inlet on the pressure regulator. So far all I have managed to do is nearly round out end of the...
