    I believe we are chatting via email from Craigslist, but to answer your question, the stand is 61" long. (5'1") The stand could use some paint. -hince another reason I am selling it. I simply don't have time for it at all.

    Because it's a little more tall than I like and I can better use the space in my garage by building a bench type stand.

    Ok, so the two downfalls so far are: 1) Can't brew when the power goes out. (I'll be drinking if the power goes out) 2) Not portable, if built on 240. Not exactly a huge concern for me, but we do plan to try and buy a house in the next year and a half or so....so that is a thought I guess...

    I've read all of the sites and have yet to read about anyone who went electric and has regrets about it. I'm ready to pull the trigger, just want to read something bad about it. I know that might sound dumb, but would really like to know the downfalls of electric brewing.
