    woot woot!!! its not infected. I just tasted a sample that's not murky. It has a chocolate taste with some roast malt and in the finish I can taste a lot of caramel, like the fudge kind.

    lactose, when to add?

    thanks bro! I decided Ill do it at 10mins. Ill just get a sample of the wart before I add it. That should be close enough of a reading, even though im sure the additional 10mins boil would condense the wort a bit more

    hows the sweetness on it??? find it to be too sweet or just right?? I'm going to brew a stout tomorrow morning and I was thinking about adding 1lb of lactose to my recipe. My grain bill is just slightly more than the NB's grain bill though. So im assuming it shouldn't get my chocolate stout...
