    I did for about 2-3 min to make sure there was no clumps.

    So I was trying to have my mash at 150-151°. Heated up my water and grain mixture and ended at 149°. Fast forward an hour when I am going to Sparge and the temperature of the mash is 154°. Has anybody seen this happen? Does anybody know why this happens? Am I doomed? And yes I know RDWHAHB

    Pilsner fermenting for 2 weeks?

    Not yet. There is still a pretty thick layer of krausen on the top, so I’m just gonna let it run for a little bit longer. thanks for the insight.

    Pilsner fermenting for 2 weeks?

    I brewed a pilsner two weeks ago, the Og was 1.052 and I used bohemian lager 2124 yeast. I put it in a temperature controlled fermentation for eight days at 52°. After those eight days I raise the temperature to 58° for about three days and then raise it again to about 64° for another 3 days...
