One thing I forgot to mention. When you are ready to reattach the thermostat unit make sure you dont pinch any of the wires between the top of the fridge and the thermostat. :mug:

I just successfully adjusted the thermostat on this fridge. I didnt really want to cut any wires to bypass the thermostat so I went this route. Now I can lager and crash cool with no problem. Could the thermostat on these wine fridges just be adjusted the same way that people adjust the thermostat on chest freezers? that would help avoid the re-wiring.

how accurately can you hit and hold your mash temps with this system? Im in the process of making the jump to electric. I would really rather go with a RIMS system than a HERMS but I dont have the electrical know how to build one.
