Hot fermentation temps. How "off" will it taste

Son of A Fermentation Chiller works very well in Georgia! It was cheap and works like a charm in my 90+ degree garage here near Atlanta. http://knoxhomebrewer.com/images/stories/chiller%20plans.pdf

    Dry Hopping

Yay! Thanks all. It's got a while to sit there in secondary. I'll just let the hops fall where they may ;)

    Dry Hopping

I currently have a pale ale in secondary fermentation in a carboy. I decided to dry hop the brew and added about 1/2 oz of cascade pellets. Being a beginner, I just dumped in the pellets. They disintegrated and are now floating in the top 1/4 to 1/2 inch of the brew. WIll they ever drop...

Is it too hot to brew?

I have a similar problem as our un airconditioned basement is at 80-85 degrees F in the summer. I built a fermentation chiller http://home.elp.rr.com/brewbeer/chiller/chiller.PDF keeps everything a nice 66 - 70 degrees F

He..he...he... Looks like what happened to me last night! It's still bubbling away at about 1 bps through the tubing. At least it's stopped pushing foam.

    Primary Explosion!

It's pushing copious amounts of foam out... There's still ceiling possibilities.

    Primary Explosion!

I got home today and checked out my new fermentation chiller (Son of a fermentation chiller to be exact) and found my krausen creeping out of the airlock. "Hmmmmm... ," said I, "I'd best put in a blow-off tube." I pulled out the airlock and WHHOOOSSSHHHH!!! I was attacked my my day old...

Ever used this Turkey Fryer from Ebay

I found this one at Home Depot. I haven't used it yet, but it certainly should be better than trying to use the electric range! http://www.bayouclassicdepot.com/product_310_detailed.htm
