Has anyone here written (or do you know where to find) a pid library in Python than can easily be repurposed into new projects? I'm hacking up the raspibrew code I found for my own needs because I haven't tried to figure out how pull just the pid library out.
I just found this hydro grow shop in Louisville exchanges 20lb tanks for $12.95... ahhh colorado.. http://victoryhydro.com/co2-price-reduced-12-95-refills
Makes me want to replace my 5lb with a 20lb...
holy moly that's a lot of psi. My better half loves having seltzer on tap so typically i have one serving and one carbing, i do both at about 35psi and it's perfect
It's probably in some other threads on coffee+beer but surprised no one mentioned this here. Avoid the sludge with Toddy's method of cold brewing. It's soooo good... http://www.toddycafe.com/shop/product.php?productId=67
Basically is just a big plastic pitcher that you let the coffee...
I'm going to be scouting out a reclaimed building materials place for a cabinet that will fit a few carboys. If I come up short, I'm curious what does all the wood cost at a big box store for a basic build like this?
Nice build! Looks not overly engineered, i like.
I totally get why you would do it this way, but the electricians here will complain about the male-male power cable feeding the thing. theory being if you unplug it from the chamber, you then have a hot cable dangling. Nitpicky....but...
i came across that video today and thought the same thing!! wonder if a smaller "cold" chamber and fans directing air in/out the fermentation chamber would work better - like some of you guys make for tubs of ice.
i had discoloration on an electric stove in my last apartment (and didnt get charged, phewwww....). We now have a house with a flat glass top stove that is mostly black. If i used it just for mash tun pre heat water and not the full boil, would you expect any problems?
i was worried about it being overhyped. but yes, it is worth it. i wouldn't do it too often, and i wouldn't stand in line every year for it, but every once in a while hell yeah.
