I know this thread has been dead for a while but I'm brewing the Aprihop recipe listed on page 1 of this forum this weekend. I found bulk dehydrated, unsulphored apricots at a local Whole Foods and I'm trying to decide how to use them in the secondary. I've heard people talk about pureeing...
I was considering brewing this, when it says "rehydrate 4-6 lbs. of dehydrated unsulphored apricots" did you do anything other than just dump them in the secondary? Or did you use apricot extract?
