There's a few nice ones for grilling, but homebrewers have different needs.
I think I remember something about yeast eating the most simple sugars first then adapting to eating just those sugars. So it might make it more stressful to eat the normal wort sugars. That was my thinking, but I have no idea what I'm talking about.

I've used WLP007 for Barley Wines and RIS's without issue before.
It was a meticulously temp controlled ferment with proper pitching rates and oxygen.
My best guess was that all the simple sugars stressed out the yeast somehow.

Beer_Goggles, The Black Prinz should be fine. My experience is, the darker the malt the longer you can store before use milled or unmilled.
I'm planning on using this recipe as base for a Black IPA I'm brewing in about a week.
I made adjustments for my BIAB system by upping the base malt...

Ingredients:
1.Hop Shot - Northern Brewer
2.Phosphoric Acid - Northern Brewer
3.Agave Nectar - Grocery Store
4.Water - Tap or Filtered
Mix the above until you like the taste.
Assuming the hop shot extract can be mixed into the rest of the ingredients...
