    I fermented it dry, and added a bit of suger to carb it, and a bit of truvia to sweeten it to taste. Next time I think I will try it dry though.

    Well guys I cracked open a growler of treetop cider and all I can say is wow, harshness is gone and apple flavor more intense. Totally would not believe this is 9.5% abv. Cider + time = liquid trouble.

    Work for a water utility (getting the water to your faucet), the education in water quality is coming in handy now.

    If you want to be on the safe side you can buy a relay thats rated for 15 amps, or if its cheaper return it and get a contoller rated for 15amps. With electricty you want to oversize.

    Finishing hops vs cool down time

    I wondered today after using my new homemade 50ft wort chiller for the first time if anybody adjusts the final hop addition time. What I mean is now those hops are in there for less than 30min vs my old ice bath method of 1 to 2 hours.
