Muddy Creek Brewing Co. Brewery Build- Start to Finish Thread

Man!!! This is great thread! Took me two days to read it all and some I still don't understand. The math ALMOST got me...lol. Good luck, I hope this works well for you.

Forgot to add Liquid extract at end of boil.

Really shouldn't, you should be fine. I've done that and the beer came out just fine. RDWHAHB!

    BYO BoGo

I'll try too! Maybe my amusing anecdote will help. Once, when my brother was moving from Ohio to California, he stopped by the gas station on his way out of town. He asked the guy if he had any scratch off lotto tickets that had anything to do with the beach or Califronia or anything like that...

    thinking about buying this kit.

Well, I haven't done this kit, but as it's one that is Denny's I'd say you're looking at a solid recipe. I'd go for it.

Can anyone recommend a good style for Easter?

Hefe? But you may need to take into account a month in primary/secondary plus, unless you keg, 30 days imo to bottle condition.

    UDS Kits now available

Do you still have these kits available? May be a few weeks/month before I could purchase one tho. Starting a new job.

    Funny/amusing street signs thread

In Florence, KY., the water tower says "Florence Y'all!!" It was supposed to say Florence Mall, so the story goes, but they were told it couldn't be done so it got repainted.

    Funny/amusing street signs thread

Big Bone Lick State Park is located at Big Bone in Boone County, Kentucky. It is located on Beaver Road and between the communities of Beaverlick and Rabbit Hash. I know, 12-year-old humor at best, but still kinda funny.

    first batch

Be sure those cans are reasonably fresh, or shop somewhere with high turnover. I use Austin Homebrew and order online. Nothing but reasonably fresh ingredients. Never had a problem. I would hate to see you get some stale extract. Just my .02

    Funny Story

I'll probably catch flak for this but, the wife and I are Buckeye (flak) fans. My youngest boy was born at OSU hospital during a home game vs penn state. He was born at 12:00 on the dot. By 12:05 me, mom and baby boy were watching the game on tv. We could see the game just as easily in the...

What do I do about this?

IMO, food grade is always best. I have heard people say they have used whatever tubing is available, but I say why risk it.

    WTS: Budweiser Millennium Gift set

I don't think anyone is trying to be mean to you, but this is a homebrew forum, we generally don't want BMC ( Bud, Miller, Coors) stuff. Now if you had a 10-year-old bottle of utopias, you might generate some interest. Don't take it personally, we give each other grief all the time. Stick...

    Do you support your LHBS?

No, I don't, and anyone who lives in the Columbus, Ohio area knows why. I can't stand that shop in Clintonville.
