My friend gave me a vile of WLP099 Super High Gravity yeast the other day and I have no idea what beer to attempt with it... I also have a bunch of extra light DME laying around some Hallertau and Saaz packs. Any thoughts on what kind of high test beer could be done with this?

No I didn't paste or anything... I just turned it on with the door open and it was easy to feel the lines... This is a great fridge to use as there is no freezer so it maintains 4-5 degrees with no added temp control at all... just adjust the fridge dial.

I think it's important to note that this is also an M&Ms candy commercial on all channels. Not exactly risque by today's standards. lol We are destroying children these days... assaulting them with adult hypocrisy. I got a call from my daughters catholic school when she was in grade 1...

For a buck you can get the soft to rigid sweat fittings from any HVAC place. No sense MacGyvering things together... This is from my 1/2" IC...

We don't get that in Ontario that I am aware of...

I think filtering removes alot of the flavor from beers. We don't get either of those beers here but I basically only drink microbrew unfiltered stuff. It's a preference and an opinion. I'll never be convinced otherwise. Lol

I personally love wits and hefe's and the flavour that the yeasts give them. If clearer is better then filtered would be best and we know that simply isn't so...

It's kinda like ordering a steak well done... you're missing out on a lot of flavour.

Yeah sounds like a life stress anxiety issue. Don't sweat the small stuff! (easier said than done...)
