    Dry Hopping & Sanitization Question

    Why all the extra steps? I just drop my hops right into the carboy "no bags no marbles" a week before I plan to keg or bottle. By the end of a week the hops settle down to the bottom and I rack. I use a racking cane with a tip and have been very happy with the results.

    Vent needed for fermentation chamber?

    I use an old refrigerator as my fermentation chamber and have no vents on it. I have had 3 carboys fermenting in it at the same time with no pressure issues. I think you should be fine.

    Added aroma hops too late?

    Completely ruined private message me for address to send the ruined beer. Yea relax throw an ounce of hops in a week or so before you bottle if you really want to. Even if you don't the beer will still be beer just less of a hoppy beer.
