    I was thinking of making use of some copper geysers that I have available. According to the "How to brew" book copper don't need to be cleaned intensively, it must have like a layer, he even say with new copper you must bake it in to form the layer.

    What is the benefit of copper kettle's? Why was the old pots all made of Copper? Does it affect the taste of the beer?

    Very little alcohol, when it is distributed, but it keeps on fermenting in the bottle. It is a very easy product. I buy a premix ginger beer powder, ad sugar, ad water,mix and 3 days later we bottle it and distribute.

    Thanks Mr. O. Yes we have the "big mouth yellow fish here in the Vaal River (directly translated it mean fading River) and the Riet river (meaning reeds river) The fly fishing people come from far to get a "Yellow" on the hook.

    This is the problem here with us, Kegs are realy scares, and they are on the stock of all the major beer brewing company's, so they are not that willing to let a homebrewer buy it, because it damage there sales. If I powder-coat the Aluminum pots (:D take note OneHoppyGuy:D) will it do the job?

    Why don't you guys make use of aluminum casserole in the place of the kegs? Like these: http://www.hendler.co.za/images/cater_aluminiumhotel_cass_lrg.jpg Will the aluminum make a chemical reaction that can harm your brew? The aluminum casserole are much easier obtainable than kegs.
