    Click PLC smart enough to control all of this?

    simple answer: yes they can do this.. as in previous posts you will need to keep some of the relays to run the pumps and heaters. but Click does offer some higher rated plc expansion cards. bottom line its better to let your relays do the work of controlling the current and let the plc run the...

    Question for the industrial control guys - Pneumatic Valves

    Sounds like a nifty idea......however, :) I see a few possible problems 1. sanitation, those valve blocks were not designed to account for bacterial growth, this means cracks and crevises for critters to hide in as well as whatever seals used in the blocks may be permiable and give bacteria a...

    Hey, all of you electricians....

    after reading all your posts on this subject I think your best idea is your last one. go with a gfi breaker its expensive but its the most simple. I'm a big believer in KISS. professionally I am industrial automation tech with a AS degree in electronics, and started out as an electrician.

    Fruit grinder

    Im currently building a drum, after seeing several examples of the wood drum/stainless screw examples. I decided that I probably couldn't make a perfectly round wood drum, so I'm trying a 3inch dia PVC pipe. I bought two 3in threaded female adapters which i joined end to end with a regular piece...

    ESB = Extra Special Braggot

    I totally agree with king. the honey aroma comes through in my braggots strong and true. solstice are you boiling your honey? that might lead to less honey flavor. i add my honey after the boil is done but while the wort is still hot.

    Found a year old Braggot in the closet.

    Yeah I've boiled honey and not boiled honey and I have to say not boiling leaves alot of honey aroma, I must admit though that I cant really taste the honey in the final product, its more on the nose than on the tongue. my friends however say they taste the honey. anyway when making braggot i...

    Braggot questions

    Stout Braggot? cool idea, I'm not an expert but I got my start in homebrewing making braggot. and I make two or three batches a year. first you gotta decide if you want a "BEERY braggot? or a "MEADY braggot" now you want to do stout so I'm guessing you'll fall on the beery side of things. for...
