    founders bolt cutter

Glad I read this thread. I bought 2 bottles, and was going to try one young, and age one in the cellar. Sounds like I'd be better off sticking them both in the cellar.

    Masterbuilt Turkey Fryer

I used that fryer for a while, I didn't like it. It won't fit a keggle, and the timer mechanism is really annoying. I upgraded to this guy, which is cheaper than that masterbuilt: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0009JXYQ4/?tag=skimlinks_replacement-20 Fits a keggle just fine, and very stable.

    Buying Beer (Not Brewing Beer)

I always buy beer to supplement my homebrew supply. I enjoy trying new beers, or picking up some old favorites. As much as I like my homebrew, I haven't yet come close enough to matching my favorite beers exactly.

    Good beer glasses

I usually purchase a glass at every brewery I visit. Most only sell your classic pint glass, so if they do happen to offer a goblet or something different I'll usually go for that. I also steal interesting glasses from bars (make sure SWMBO brings a big purse). I know, it's morally...

    Who got some hopslam?

Champane's Wine Cellar in Warren, MI has some available. Don't mind broadcasting that since I already bought 4 sixers :rockin: They're selling it for $13.99 a six pack... cheapest I've seen it yet.

    Dogfish 120 Minute Imperial IPA

The 120 minute needs some age. Although I enjoyed having it fresh on tap, I think it'll really shine with some time to mellow. I have two bottles waiting for me in my beer cellar.

What is the the favorite part of your brew day?

Sticking my face over the brew pot after my first hop addition. That malty, hoppy steam is excellent for the skin!!!

What does your LHBS do to keep you coming back?

I'll agree with Revvy that Cap N Cork is a very good store in the Metro Detroit area. Been there a couple times, actually purchased my initial equipment and did my first batch in their parking lot a few years ago at a brewing event. The only problem is that they're a bit out of the way for me...

Something I love almost as much as beer...

Sacred and Herbal Beers is one of my favorite brew books. It gives both the historical background of ancient beers, plus the authors recipes on how to recreate them.

People that won't drink your beer...

The sludge is the best part :) That's what I tell people!
