    It eventually got worse and tasted like bandaids. It had that Kombucha/saisony bacteria smell.

    It's possible you have an infection. I've had an infection that didn't ruin the beer, but took away from the major flavors/aromas and gave the beer a really cidery flavor.

    What are those jointed, hard-plastic hoses that are usually used inside kettles to direct wort in different directions? I can't seem to find them anywhere. Thanks in advance.

    Our water comes out at 165-170f. Would you still recommend a water heater?

    Thanks. I think I'll see what Probrewer has to say. I'm taking the idea of brewing a little less and just doing it more often into consideration. It might be nice to get more brewing time in.

    Thanks for the legal advice, everything is taken care of we are just expanding the existing brew area. Just looking for cool equipment setup ideas for 50 gallon batches. I've never used a setup larger than for 15 gallon home brewing.

    I think I may have calculated the AA as 14.3 on the citra instead of 13.4, so I might be adding a small amount of bittering hops. I'd like it to come out around 40IBUs
