    Classic Style Smoked Beer Loon Lake Smoked Porter (Award Winner)

    The recipe I found called for only about 14% smoked malt. I've found it online, forget the site, but so far I have enjoyed the stolen samples that I've tasted. Is this too little smoked malt ? The brew is not a porter, I think it's closer to a lager than anything else.

    Help with Mash Tun.

    One thing you can do with your ball valve is to reverse the handle. Take off the nut that holds the handle in place and then pull off the handle, turn it 180 degrees and set it back on the valve assembly. Replace nut and tighten. Now your handle should turn with ease.

    Just started kegging third batch in keg now. I should mention this is the second and a half batch that remains flat. I'm using aligal ( nitrogen and Co2 mix) primarily used in pubs for their draft systems. I'm finding I'm not getting much if any carbonation in my beer is this due to the aligal...
