    Im brewing a recipe with an expected OG of 1.077. Should my starter wort be 1.077 as well? I'll be using WY1056. Thanks

    i just did Northern Brewers Spiced Winter Ale. I would def. recommended it for a winter party. Its super easy drinking. Even my mom liked it, or at least she claimed to... Low IBU, the mulling spices are what makes this beer

    Yes my therm was reading higher. meaning my actual mash temp was 152, instead of my intended 154. My hydrometer was calibrated at 60F in distilled water. Yes I use Beer alchemy and it does adjust for temp. I take a temp reading every time I check gravity

    My efficiency has recently jumped and the last 6 or so brews have come out with a higher OG. Lately I've been getting about 80% efficiency. Im normally shooting for OG around 1.056 and most end around 1.070. Not only that but my FG always ends low. Between 1.004-1.008. Any idea why this happens...

    I'm trying to carb 2 new beers and keep serving pressure on a 3rd keg. I recently installed the splitter and my 2 new beers seem to be carving slower than before. Should I have the higher pressure on the left of the regulator? I currently have higher pressure on the side closest to the co2 tank...
