How long is your beer line? If it is under 10', that is likely the cause. I have had the same issues due to short beer line.

I am going to brew up a wheat beer tomorrow and will be buying everything in the morning. I was going to make a yeast starter, but have read you should do it at least 12-22 hours before pitching. So, can I brew and make the yeast starter on the same day, then pitch the yeast the next morning?

you would probably end up with a good bit of sediment if you did, plus I imagine it would take longer that force carbing.

Thanks for the replies. I ended up buying one online from Home Depot w/ free shipping. I have been looking on Craigslist but there has been nothing in my area. Now I just need to get some kegs.

Where are the best places to buy a kegerator. Don't know if I want to go the DIY route yet, but want to do some comparison shopping. I know about Kegerators.com, beveragefactory.com and kegconnection.com. Any others? :mug:

My favorite true domestic is PBR. Premium Domestic would be Sam Adams and favorite Craft beer would be Rouge Mocha Porter.
