How to brew regularly without having a warehouse of beer on hand?

Join a hockey team. I bring 2 gallons a week, and those heathens drink it even if it's terrible. Great way to experiment.

Storing RO water for brew day

My RO collects in a 35 gallon food grade container. It might sit for a couple weeks like that. Never had any trouble. I've probably got 100 brew sessions under my belt doing it this way. I follow the ezwater excel sheet for my additions.

No sparge recirculating mash tun question.

No sparge is no sparge no matter how you do it. Efficiency can be helped with crush and water chemistry.

    Help with Expedition Stout clone

as far as yeast goes, harvest from amber ale or maybe Oberon. They use the same yeast on almost all their beers, some notable exceptions are like winter white. Their continuous yeast recycle thing is pretty cool.

Bad results with PB2 and Vodka. Anyone try pasteurizing?

We added some to the mash and the rest to the boil tasted great. Got some of that roasted peanut flavor from the mash side additions.

    Hopslam!

It was different, but it's always a bit different. Same thing as the Black Note. It's a bit different every year. I find myself loving the fact that some of Bell's beers are a little different depending on hop harvest, grain availability, and additives that come in different each year. This...

Copper being used isn't the problem, it's the maintenance of the copper. Large scale operations have mechanical integrity people that are constantly checking on the equipment and re-mediating problems. As long as you, as a home brewer are paying attention to the state of the equipment you...

    Peanut butter in my wort

We just did 10 gallons of marris otter and peanut butter. 13 oz in the mash, and 26oz in the boil last ten minutes. Used powdered pb2. Haven't tasted it yet, but it smelled awesome.

    Bourbon Vanilla Porter

There's no sugar in burbon. Or maybe... Yea no there's none. Add whatever the carbonation chart recommends for bottling primer.

    Ball lock vs. pin lock

Pin locks are more delicate in the hook up. We broke a couple of them before we switched over to ball lock. Granted they probably got broke after the keg kicked and we tried to hook up a new one, and may not of had all of our senses. None the less we have't broken a ball lock. I think our...
