Missouri Lab Grade Digital Temperature Controller

I have a Glas-Col Temp-O-Trol TOT 1200 lab temperature controller for sale. Works the same way the typical Honeywell temperature controllers work, only is mounted in it's own box and has an alarm. Uses a K style thermocouple, so it is more accurate than the controllers you buy at the LHBS (Not...

    WTB: Brew Stand, HLT (Missouri)

I'm looking to buy a brew stand (if I have to purchase all the goodies too, that's ok). It needs to be able to hold 3 keggles and I'd prefer to have 3 burners already hard piped in. I have cash in hand and am willing to travel (within reason) from St. Louis to pick it up. I also need a keggle...

It appears that in this recipe they want you to do a partial mash. So if you can mash the grain and sparge into you kettle to acquire the correct amount of wort. Then add your malt extract. I'm guessing this beer will be closer to the 1.050-1.055 range.

Adding Gelitin as a clearing agent

Stay away from gelatin and try biofine clear. It's vegan and it actually works.

Extreme Frustration; What am I doing wrong?!!

Brettanomyces is the wild yeast responsible for producing the " band aid" or "astringent" flavors. Even with proper sanitation, some Brett strains will become immune to just one sanitizer. This is why big breweries will use more than one sanitizer. Having said that, I recommend giving everything...

Rookie mistake, did it kill my beer?

No, you are fine, a little sanitizer won't hurt anything. It would take much, much more to kill the yeast off

    WTB: False bottom for keggle

My false bottom was recently stolen (odd, I know) out of my keggle that was in my warehouse where I brew. Hoping to get another one here.
