CO2 to carb then Beer Gas (70-30) to serve

Why wouldn't this work? Brew beers - Pale Ales, IPAs, Stouts Carb each to appropriate levels 2.2 - 2.8 for the pale ales and IPAs, 1.2 - 1.7 for the stout Use beer gas (70 - 30) in the kegerator for all beers, lower pressure through normal faucets for the Pales and IPAs, higher pressure for...

Going to Sasebo Japan for a few days

Going to Sasebo Japan for a work thing and will be there for about a week. Looking for good places to go (to drink beer or buy and bring back to my hotel) that are near the Navy base. Also looking for beer that's not in the states. Any help would be great.

Is it ok to have controller probe immersed in water?

I've had mine in a white labs yeast vial filled with mineral spirits for about three years with no issues. I didn't go with water since it evaporates.

    Getting rid of cable

OK, I'm fed up with the high prices for services that I really don't want/need. I'm cutting the cord and going to put an antenna on my TVs. I'll have internet and will use netflix/huluplus to stream as I want. I still want a DVR to record over the air TV and looking at the Channel Master DVR+...

    Florida Growler fight

Well right now (small) breweries can sell bottles/cans in their tasting rooms but can not fill a 64 oz. growler. 32 oz. and one gallon growlers can be filled. I've been to breweries in quite a few states and do not remember any other state that allows the brewery to sell bottles/cans from their...

lagering in corney keg - pressure

I normally put CO2, around 10 PSI) in the keg to purge out any oxygen and let it lager. When I'm ready to put it on tap I just hook it up at serving pressure and let it force carb over a couple of days. Then drink and enjoy.

    Whole leaf dry hop questions

I want more aroma than I am getting from dry hopping. Here is what I currently do: After secondary I transfer the beer to a corny keg. Then add 1.5 oz whole leaf centennial to a weighted paint strainer bag. After putting the lid on the keg I purge the air out of the keg and pressurize with...
