I built my collar with the bare minimum of tools about 4 years ago. But have since gotten into woodworking and have much nicer tools now. I'd love to make a new collar, but this one is getting the job done just fine for now.

Are you using a 110 or 220v outlet? And once you figure that out, how many amps do you get at that outlet? Once you have your volts and amps, you can decide how many watts your element(s) can be.

I got a small cheap $10 fan from BigLots and mounted it in the top corner of my ferm chamber. That things moves a TON of air! (and has 3 selectable speeds).
Totally worth the (small) investment.
Anyone have a good recipe for a simple cider that's not too sweet?
Wifey wants a cider on tap, and likes Crispin, but would prefer something slightly less sweet if possible.
