I read through and searched all of this thread and couldn't find any mention of the fact that this recipe is missing it's bittering hops. Should be 7 AA Magnum for 60 min.

They are definitely etched and not painted on. I have scrubbed them and they don't come off.

Also, the original MP were just Update International kettles.

I contacted NB about the new MegaPot for some info and it's a lot thicker than the Tall Boy kettle. I believe the TB is 1.0mm thick and the 8 & 10 gallon MegaPot 1.2's will have 1.3mm thick sidewalls, and the 15 gallon & up models have 1.5mm.

Are these stainless steel or chrome plated? If these are chrome faucets, you can pick them up online for $14.95.
