Is the yeast from one of the originial mason jars? I've had issues with using washed yeast more than 2-3 times and find its better to use a fresh batch after a couple of fermentations.

Thanks for the review. I know most people use BeerSmith but I haven't made the jump. Been using Brewtarget which I originally found for Ubuntu, but there is a Windows version as well. Meets my needs and can't beat free.
I'm similar to you in brewing mostly 5 gallon batches with the occasional 10 gallon batch. You should know that if you get a 20G kettle, that when brewing 5 gallon batches you're volume may not be enough to reach the thermometer which would be a bummer.
