I'm from San francisco and ill be heading to New York City next week and wanted to see if anyone knew of any great beers out there that i can't get back at home. Im looking to bring cans/bottles back with me for a beer exchange with friends. so if anyone knows of any great bottle...
+1 for a trip to Revolution. Amazing beers on tape (many you can't get in stores) and free popcorn. you can also buy a lot of there beers in house and take them home with you. the tour is great too! very informative and pretty cool considering they do all their canning in house. Id check ahead...

This is my first time entering the AHA national comp and i can't find anywhere on their site or in the rules that says how they want the beer labels attached the the bottle..... tape? rubber band? Glued? cemented? wrapped with a $100 bill?

thank you all for your help. i too and just trying to become a better brewer. i just want to know what category to enter the beers in so i can get judges who are experienced in tasting, judging, and ultimately giving great feedback on the style.

as for the Consecration, which is a sour beer, i cannot figure out which category it falls under.....
im afraid putting in the Specialty Beer category because then i will be going up against a lot of different styles...
