I started using a no-chill cube a couple of months ago and love it. It cuts about half the brew day off, and just requires a 5.5 gallon collapsible water jug. Leave it in the kegerator or on the counter and pitch the next day.

Pitched this last december and finally got off my ass and transferred to secondary.... delicious. Very light, refreshing and smooth as silk, even without gas. It will end up being a repeat. Not to mention its 6.8abv.... total girlfriend slayer. :cross:
It really has more to do with the shooter and skill than a tiny compensator for an underpowered cartridge on a short barrel.
I assume you are planning on carrying, due to the size you are looking at, generally 9mm is a better choice ballistically and can be fed much cheaper than 380.
