Mine are mostly white to purple, depending on the breed. They start to green up as they get longer. Looks like you've got a good start on year 2.

If you want to tap an existing line, think about electric range or dryer. Those are things you can do without on brew day.

I've tried to search for an all grain O'Fallon Wheat recipe, but all I can find are Wheach clones. It sounds like they don't make the Wheat anymore, which is odd since I think it won a medal at GABF. Any Ideas? Is Wheach the same thing but with some peach added? Hoss

Here in Denver I've covered the early sprouts in the past when I remembered to do it, but they seem pretty hardy when I haven't. Just saw the first sprout this weekend on one hill.

I think there are metal "mud" trays at HD by the sheet rock tools. Might work if they don't rust.
